In 2014 Avant Money implemented Softworks Employee Leave Management as its Absence and Leave Management solution to support HR operations across the organization. The deployment focused on administering employee leave, absence tracking and scheduled reporting for a 250 employee banking and financial services firm based in Ireland.
The implementation of Softworks Employee Leave Management included configuration work and in-system automations, manual employee provisioning, scheduled report creation and ongoing record maintenance. HR staff configured recurring HeadCount and Absence report schedules to deliver outputs to the HR mailbox to meet reporting deadlines, and produced ad hoc reports from the Softworks Employee Leave Management environment.
Operational activity extended beyond tool configuration to programmatic HR governance. The HR team created over 50 HR desktops that documented standard processes and procedures for recruitment, learning, employee relations, payroll, compensation and benefits and use of the HR system Softworks. The project also supported control function activities that ran alongside the PI application workstream, including creation of trackers, information packs and the collection and filing of control documentation.
Day to day operational coverage centered on the HR office and executive administration, encompassing file room management, report scheduling, recruitment trackers and note taking for disciplinary and probation meetings. Key achievements recorded from the period include the organisation of an employee event, recognition for internship work at a manager meeting, successful implementation of control functions as part of the Fitness and Probity process, and the creation of comprehensive HR desktops that formalized HR workflows.
