In 2022, Avasa Mexico implemented Thermeon CARS+ as its Automotive ERP and integrated DAMAGE iD to automate vehicle inspections and link inspection records directly to rental agreements across its Mexican operations. The deployment focused on embedding inspection workflows into the rental contract lifecycle so that photographic evidence and inspection metadata are captured and associated with the corresponding rental agreement at return processing.
Configuration and modules centered on rental operations and fleet management capabilities inferred from the integration announcement, using Thermeon CARS+ to map inspection metadata, timestamped photos and damage classification into the agreement record. Automation routed completed inspections into operational queues for damage adjudication and customer communications, shifting inspection capture from manual checklists to digitally linked records.
The implementation established a real time data flow from DAMAGE iD into Thermeon CARS+, making inspection records available to rental desk agents and fleet managers at the point of return and during claims handling. Operational scope covered Avasa's Mexican locations, centralizing inspection documentation inside Thermeon CARS+ to support consistent evidence capture across sites.
Governance and process changes included standardizing inspection procedures and embedding inspection acceptance criteria into rental agreement processing, reinforcing auditability of damage events. The integration improved damage capture, documentation and customer communications across Avasa Mexico's operations as described in the integration announcement.
