The implementation configured FastSpring Merchant of Record to assume subscription lifecycle management and recurring billing orchestration, payment processing, and tax management responsibilities. Configuration work focused on billing schedule alignment, automated recurring invoice generation, hosted checkout and payment routing, and region specific tax calculation and remittance workflows consistent with the Subscription and Recurring Billing,Payment Processing,Tax Management category.
Operational connections centered on finance and subscription operations to preserve continuity of renewals and collections while maintaining global tax handling across regions. The deployment centralized Merchant of Record functions for billing and tax governance, establishing operational ownership between finance and subscription teams and defining transaction reconciliation and reporting touch points.
The accelerated three week go live in early 2025 preserved revenue continuity for finance and subscription operations and maintained subscription renewals and cross border tax handling during cutover.
