In 2019 Avod deployed Suprema FaceStation F2 as a site-level Time & Attendance solution in Rusayl, Muscat. The rollout used Suprema FaceStation F2 alongside Suprema FaceStation 2 hardware equipped with a thermal camera, provisioned as Time Clock (Hardware) endpoints to enable contactless clocking for more than 1000 employees and to strengthen secure entry controls.
Devices were provisioned as on-premises biometric terminals, leveraging face recognition and thermal sensing to capture attendance events and to support HR and time and attendance processes. Configuration covered user enrollment, schedule and shift capture at the device level, and local event logging for downstream payroll and workforce management workflows. The architecture emphasized site-level orchestration of hardware endpoints and device provisioning rather than a pure cloud-only attendance collection model.
The implementation was delivered by Elite International Information Systems LLC, responsible for device deployment, enrollment, and onsite commissioning across the Rusayl site. The deployment improved workforce management and provided site-level contactless access during COVID-era operations, aligning attendance capture with HR and facility security workflows.
