In 2016, Babilou deployed Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices (formerly Kofax ReadSoft Invoices) as its Intelligent Document Processing solution to dematerialize invoice intake and accounts payable workflows. The engagement targeted invoice capture for a large multi-site organization, covering centralized finance and purchasing teams and an operational footprint that included 550 independent agencies and a multi-thousand person workforce in the documented project scope.
Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices was configured to deliver standard Intelligent Document Processing capabilities, including document capture, OCR/data extraction, invoice line recognition, automated matching to purchase orders, and exception handling with human validation queues. Configuration emphasized purchase-to-pay workflow orchestration and rules-based validation to route invoices to approvers and accounting ledgers, aligning with typical AP automation modules for invoice validation and posting.
The implementation integrated the ReadSoft stack into Purchase to Pay operations, with explicit linkage to a READSOFT and Basware oriented P2P solution referenced in project documentation, enabling end-to-end invoice flow from capture through P2P processing. Operational coverage included accounts payable, purchasing, and financial reporting teams, with the solution supporting centralized processing for multiple agencies and fostering standardized invoice handling across sites.
Governance and rollout were delivered under a consulting business unit model, reporting to the Managing Director and the executive committee, with a small consulting team of three delivering needs analysis through operational implementation. Project-level results recorded in project notes include the constitution of a service offering, recruitment of freelance consultants and service providers, and documented mission revenue of 400K euros for the consulting engagement, including 180K euros of personal production.

In 2020, Babilou deployed Hotjar on its public website to capture behavioral analytics and feedback as part of its Customer Experience tooling. The deployment establishes Babilou Hotjar Customer Experience support for web behavior analysis and on‑site feedback collection across the company website.
The Hotjar implementation was instrumented across key site pages, using Hotjar session recordings, heatmaps, conversion funnel visualization, and on-page feedback widgets and surveys to surface user behavior and friction points. Configuration focused on page-level script deployment, segmentation of recordings by page path and device type, and dashboarding of qualitative insights for UX and product review.
Operational ownership is positioned with Babilou digital experience, UX, and product teams, with governance focused on access controls and page-level instrumentation rules to manage visibility of recordings and feedback. The implementation centers on the public website as the scope of collection, aligning Hotjar usage to web analytics and customer experience functions rather than back-office systems.
