The implementation emphasized interoperability with AutoCAD for 2D documentation, with Maxsurf for hydrostatic and hull fairing workflows, and with ANSYS for finite element analysis, enabling CAD-to-CAE handoff between design and analysis teams. Deployment was delivered as workstation installations across the structural engineering group, with file-based exchange workflows connecting design, structural, and class compliance processes. Governance centered on the structural engineering team, incorporating Rhino into processes for FEM analysis and direct structural calculations required by class requests, preliminary tonnage calculation, and preparation of fire protection and insulation plans.
