In 2018, Balkonser implemented Vainu Platform for Account Based Marketing to centralize prospect discovery and accelerate customer acquisition. The Vainu Platform was provisioned as a cloud SaaS prospecting and sales intelligence layer used by Balkonser’s small sales and business development team to identify target companies through firmographic and contact-level signals. This deployment emphasized searchable company data and list-building capabilities to shorten discovery cycles.
Configuration and usage focused on firmographic filtering, lead enrichment, alerting, and targeted outreach workflows to operationalize Account Based Marketing within the organization. Ilkka Ahonen, CEO, reported that in the past information lived in several different places and that the search for customers has been speeded up with the help of Vainu, enabling the team to make significantly more offers. The implementation impacted sales and business development functions across Balkonser’s Finland operations and was used to formalize prospecting processes and cadence.
