Mambu Legacy Mambu Cloud Banking Platform Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Banco del Estado de Chile implemented the Mambu Cloud Banking Platform to digitise transactional services and expand digital access for its more than 13 million retail customers. The Core Banking deployment was executed as part of the bank's medium and long-term strategy to modernise infrastructure and accelerate product development across its nationwide retail segment. The implementation centered on Mambu's composable banking model, configuring modular components for product configuration, account servicing, and transactional processing to support rapid creation of new retail products and digital services. Mambu Cloud Banking Platform was used to enable iterative product design, configurable ledger and posting workflows, and omnichannel transaction orchestration aligned with Core Banking functional workflows. Banco del Estado de Chile adopted new integration models through open architecture, leveraging API-first connectivity to link core capabilities with customer-facing channels and internal IT systems. Operational coverage emphasized customer digital channels and the bank's IT Architecture and Core Development function, which led configuration, testing, and rollout activities across Chile. Governance was anchored in IT Architecture and Core Development to align product roadmaps with customer experience objectives and to institutionalise composable design patterns. The deployment aimed to improve customer access to digital services, provide the ability to rapidly evolve and scale products and services, and position Banco del Estado de Chile as a modern banking provider in Chile and across Latin America.
