Divine IT Legacy Divine IT PrismGRP Government ERP ERP Services and Operations CloudMile 2021 2022
In 2021, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission engaged a joint venture including Divine IT and Gigatech Limited, with SI/VAR CloudMile, to implement a web-based Uniform System of Accounts using Divine IT PrismGRP in the Government ERP category. The agreement was signed in May 2021 and focused on standardizing accounting and reporting for gas sector entities across Bangladesh. The implementation of Divine IT PrismGRP delivered core modules for financial accounting, fund and asset management, and payroll and human resources, configured to support a regulatory chart of accounts and consolidated reporting. The deployment used a web-based architecture to centralize transaction capture and reporting workflows across participating gas utilities. Module configuration emphasized ledger consolidation, fixed asset register controls, and payroll processing aligned with public sector payroll policies. Operational scope covers gas sector entities across Bangladesh and impacts business functions including finance, asset management, human resources and regulatory reporting. Integrations and interfacing responsibilities were coordinated through the JV and SI/VAR CloudMile to align system outputs with BERC reporting requirements as described in the public contract announcements. The program centralized accounting inputs to enable uniform statutory reporting and oversight by the regulator. Governance and rollout were defined in the May 2021 contract, assigning the JV responsibility for design and implementation while BERC retained regulatory governance to standardize chart of accounts and reporting controls. The published contract stated the objective to improve transparency and regulatory decision making through the web based Uniform System of Accounts.
