Operational governance covered incident management, a ticketed query system, change management and release management processes, and application maintenance cycles for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and associated retail and custom modules. IT security systems, audit and compliance procedures, SLA monitoring and production support were instituted to align IT operations with Finance and Operations requirements. Explicit outcomes recorded include improved financial reporting efficiency through a reporting dashboard supported by a data warehouse delivering real time reporting to leadership and mid level management. The program also delivered an eCommerce platform and two major custom products in a rapid six month timeline, with Order Management integrated into LS Retail and Vendor Life Cycle Management integrated with Microsoft Navigation ERP.
