The initial go-live enabled the launch of the modular commercial product Gothaer GewerbeProtect and established a foundation for subsequent product rollouts, including private accident insurance and additional commercial lines through 2023 and 2024.
The implementation followed a component based architecture drawn from the msg.Insurance Suite, with the msg.P&C Factory product management component playing a central role. All product definitions and rules are managed in the product management system and propagated to policy administration and point of service systems, enabling a product centric configuration model that reduces custom coding. msg.P&C Factory supports modular product kits and fine‑grained product combinations, enabling around 2.7 million configuration permutations and rapid product modelling by business teams.
Integrations were implemented to support digital sales and partner channels, using standardised BiPRO pricing and application submission services so brokers and comparison sites connect on a modern basis. The quotation workflow based on msg.P&C Factory runs automated pricing and application acceptance, producing immediate confirmations of acceptance at point of sale. The implementation team included msg insur:it to support technical delivery and integration into Gothaer’s existing application landscape.
Governance and operational coverage focused on P&C insurance lines for SMEs and private accident and liability products, with phased rollouts, pilot phases and regular release updates to extend coverage through 2025.
