In 2017, Barrettine Group implemented Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) as its ERP Financial platform, replacing Sage 500 ERP formerly MAS 500. The project established a consolidated financial system for the manufacturer, aligning accounting ledgers with inventory valuation and purchasing workflows under the ERP Financial application.
Implementation focused on core financial management capabilities common to the ERP Financial category, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory cost tracking and purchase to pay and order to cash process alignment. Configuration work emphasized transaction-level financial control and inventory-finance reconciliation to support manufacturing cost visibility and statutory accounting for the United Kingdom entity.
Datel served as the systems integrator and ongoing support provider, delivering implementation services and post go live support for Barrettine Group. Governance and operational ownership rested with finance and operations teams, with Datel responsible for application support, maintenance and system updates for the Sage Business Cloud X3 environment.
