Velosi Asset Integrity Ltd Legacy Velosi VAIL-PLANT Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016 Bashayer Pipeline Company (BAPCO) implemented Velosi VAIL-PLANT as its Enterprise Asset Management solution to support inspection and maintenance management for pipeline and processing facilities. The deployment was delivered as a provision of an Asset Integrity Management System specifically for BAPCO pipeline and processing facilities, aligning application capabilities with operational integrity requirements for onshore pipeline assets and associated processing sites. Bashayer Pipeline Company (BAPCO) Velosi VAIL-PLANT Enterprise Asset Management addressed core asset performance and inspection workflows across the organization. VAIL-Plant was implemented with modular functional coverage, using a certified Asset Performance, Integrity and Inspection Management System architecture. The implementation included support for API 580 and ASME B31.8S standards, and functional capabilities for risk based inspection, reliability centered maintenance, reliability availability maintainability analysis, safety integrity level assessments and FMECA methodologies. The solution covered asset register and hierarchy management for tanks, heaters, pressure safety valves, piping, well heads, structures, lifting equipment and onshore pipeline elements, and supported inspection scheduling and inspection data capture in inspection management cycles. The program included software and associated services with governance elements such as training, workshop sessions and formal user acceptance testing coordinated as part of the rollout. Operational coverage targeted integrity, inspection, maintenance and engineering workflows across BAPCO pipeline and processing sites, with implementation activities focused on configuring inspection plans, risk models and maintenance work planning. Configuration and testing responsibilities were coordinated by the Velosi implementation team and product development stakeholders to align the VAIL-Plant configuration with BAPCO operational practices. Governance and operationalization emphasized inspection-to-workorder workflows and procedural alignment, including structured workshops to validate RBI and inspection frequency rules and UAT to confirm inspection result capture and reporting. The deployment narrative centers on Velosi VAIL-PLANT providing an Enterprise Asset Management foundation for Bashayer Pipeline Company to standardize inspection and integrity processes across pipeline and processing facility operations.
