In 2022, BBF implemented ProJEcta JE-ERP, deploying a production-oriented solution in the ERP Financial category. The implementation targeted BBF spa in Giussano, Italy and its two production facilities, with a focus on production, logistics, warehouses, panel cutting and product certification management including FSC and TSCA compliance. ProJEcta JE-ERP was deployed alongside JE-BUILDER, JE-WMS, JE-NEST, JE-PLANTS, JE-INTEGRATION PLATFORM, JE-MES, JE-MOBILE, JE-QUALITY and JE-DPC to deliver product configuration, neutral article and variant management, cycles and neutral bills of materials, cutting optimization, plant supervision, MES based progress reporting and warehouse mobility. Functional coverage included commercial document management and pricing, guided commercial configuration for estimates and sales orders, label printing, assembly picking lists and loading plan procedures for outbound logistics. The JE-INTEGRATION PLATFORM and JE-NEST were interfaced with panel cutting systems and automated plant equipment to enable Industry 4.0 style supervision and control. JE-WMS and JE-MOBILE provided warehouse control across the two production sites and supported logistics execution, while JE-MES provided computerized monitoring of production progress on two lines via PC on board work centers. ProJEcta introduced centralized data governance through the JE organizational layer, standardizing product variant definitions, neutral articles, BOM structures and process cycles. Workflow changes included guided product configuration at the order line, integration of production documentation and implementation of procedures for material traceability, batch and UDC supervision through JE-QUALITY. The deployment produced full integration of planned functions into a single software platform enabling customer order acquisition, the definition and development of parts to be produced, declaration of production progress and management of internal logistics and order fulfillment via loading plans. JE-QUALITY delivered traceability of components in bills of materials, up-to-date reporting on certified materials and supervision of certified items by order, UDC and batch, supporting BBF in obtaining FSC certification and meeting TSCA compliance for wood based panel products destined for the US market.
