The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment was configured to provide a single source of truth across Financials, Project Management, Procurement, Planning, Budgeting, Cash Forecasting, HCM, Talent Management, and Payroll. Implementation design emphasized out-of-the-box Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications functionality to be fully leveraged from day one, with configuration workstreams covering automated invoice scanning, online approval workflows, and centralized financial and operational reporting.
BC Pension engaged Novamodus as the transformation partner and outsourced payroll administration to Novamodus, including Absence Management, Benefits Management, and Time and Attendance management, while also contracting Novamodus for Application Managed Support Services. The program was executed as a twenty one-month big-bang blueprint to reduce demand on internal resources, and the technical architecture centralized transactional and master data on the Oracle Cloud ERP platform to eliminate redundant data entry across legacy point solutions.
Governance and rollout were structured around a partner-led delivery model with Novamodus responsible for transformation cadence, cutover planning, and post go-live application support. As implemented, Oracle Cloud ERP unified almost all systems on a single platform and delivered efficiencies explicitly called out by the customer, including elimination of redundant data entry, automated invoice scanning, online approval processes, and streamlined reporting.

The deployment emphasized Oracle Recruiting Cloud as a primary module within Oracle Cloud HCM, with solution design and configuration of testing and production instances led by an Oracle Recruiting Cloud Lead. Workstreams included creation of functional specifications for RICE objects, running CRP1 and CRP2 sessions, and configuring Core HR workflows for employee records and talent acquisition.
Integration efforts were scoped to align HCM master data and transactional flows with the broader Oracle Applications footprint, coordinating information exchanges with the ERP and EPM components in the same Oracle ecosystem. Operational coverage focused on HR and recruiting functions supporting BC Pension internal HR teams across a 1,000 employee enterprise and the downstream member servicing processes for plan members.
Program governance combined configuration activities with formal change control and testing, including training the trainer, leading UAT, managing data conversion, and providing post go live support. Project management responsibilities included weekly client status updates, active scope management, and ensuring project team deliverables were tracked through to go live.
