In 2021, BCI Minerals implemented Pronto XI Payroll as part of an expanded Pronto ERP deployment to establish payroll capabilities for the Mardi Project, a greenfields salt mine 140 kilometers west of Karratha. The deployment addressed core Payroll needs for a newly established workforce and site operations that previously had little technology in place.
The Pronto XI Payroll implementation included configuration of core payroll modules, covering employee master data, pay-run scheduling, payroll processing and payroll reporting consistent with Payroll application practices. Alongside payroll, Pronto ERP was expanded to include Maintenance and Inventory Management modules, aligning transactional operational data with financial and workforce records. Configuration emphasis was on standardizing employee data and pay-cycle workflows to support operational rostering on site.
The program transitioned BCI Minerals' HR solution to ActionHRM and ensured integration between ActionHRM and Pronto XI Payroll for HR master data synchronization and roster-driven payroll inputs. Parallel rollouts of the INX platform for Health and Safety, Mobilisation and LMS were coordinated with the Pronto expansions to streamline mobilisation and training workflows that feed into payroll and staff records. Operational coverage focused on the Mardi Project workforce and site operations, managed from Perth and integrated into corporate ICT reporting.
The rollout was executed under a senior project management function reporting to the General Manager ICT between January 2021 and October 2023, driving adoption and platform consolidation across HR, payroll and operational modules. Pronto XI Payroll served as the centralized payroll component within the broader Pronto ERP footprint, while the ActionHRM connection provided HR governance and master data controls.
