The implementation was applied to investigate perceived supplier and system issues, enabling forensic analysis and evidence-based communication with programme stakeholders. Functionally the implementation encompassed data ingestion and transformation, exploratory analytics, visualization and reporting, and scheduled presentation layers for stakeholder briefings. Integrations were targeted at meter telemetry and supplier feeds along with centralized data repositories to provide traceability across operational datasets. Operational coverage was within the UK smart meter rollout programme and Smart DCC's analytics organisation, with governance oriented toward incident investigation workflows and programme reporting. The rollout emphasized rapid investigation capability and production of presentation ready outputs to myth-bust issues raised during live deployment, as described in the customer case study.
