In 2018 Bedemco implemented Syspro Manufacturing ERP to formalize outbound operations and warehouse orchestration for a 40 person distribution business. The deployment targeted core order to cash and warehouse workflows within the Manufacturing ERP category, supporting a footprint that included roughly 3,000 customers, 100 suppliers, 10 warehouses, 20 transportation providers and management of more than 5,000 orders.
Syspro Manufacturing ERP was configured to support order management, warehouse releases, invoicing, and logistics coordination consistent with Manufacturing ERP capabilities. The implementation incorporated structured templates for integrated PDF outputs such as Warehouse Releases, Sales Confirmations, and Invoices, and extended the system to surface key transactional fields including customer, sales confirmation number, purchase order number, item number, and ship dates for operational clarity.
Integrations were built between Outlook and SYSPRO to produce an End of Day report used across the organization, creating a centralized EOD Report Tool to consolidate communications from Transportation Providers and warehouse portals. Operational artifacts were centralized from a shared I Drive into a unified set of records linked to Syspro Manufacturing ERP, including Sales Order Confirmations, purchase orders, Certificate of Analysis documents, 3PL and warehouse bills of lading, proof of pickups, proof of deliveries and invoices, improving visibility across distribution and 3PL interactions.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical work, with an interactive manual developed for Logistics, Operations and Sales Support training to codify outbound logistics and customer service procedures. Cross functional collaboration redefined pickup instructions and email categorization, and the EOD Report tool design incorporated recommendations for data elements and PDF templates to standardize handoffs between operations teams and sales.
Explicit operational outcomes recorded during the initiative include a reduction in lead times from 8 to 4 weeks and a decrease in order delivery days from 7 to 3. Centralizing the EOD Report Tool and consolidating outbound documentation also contributed to reduced downtime and a more consistent freight delivery experience for customers and end users.

The implementation covered SYSPRO modules for supply chain management, manufacturing, customer relationship management and quality control using Unipoint. Configuration work focused on inventory control, MRP planning, production operations and accounts interfaces, alongside the creation of data cubes and a reporting data warehouse to support operational and management reporting.
Reporting and analytics were implemented using Jet Reports, Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, SSAS and SSIS, and Power BI to deliver informational reports and data cube consumption for management. System administration and operational tooling aligned with Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory roles to manage availability and user access. Vendor sourcing activities were conducted to evaluate complementary ERP, CRM, WMS and e-commerce capabilities.
Operational governance included formal support ticket workflows with detailed issue tracking, disaster recovery planning and system testing, and continued administration to support end users. The Business Data Analyst maintained data models and database design and coordinated process alignment across Finance, Manufacturing and Distribution to ensure SYSPRO Supply Chain Management met documented business requirements.
