learnPro Legacy learnPro LMS Learning and Development HCM n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service implemented learnPro LMS to support Learning and Development across operational and non-operational staff. The initial deployment centered on integrating e-learning with competency processes to standardize training delivery and recordkeeping for the service. The learnPro LMS implementation included e-learning course management, user enrollment and completion tracking, and an explicit integration with pdrPro competency management to align training events with competency records. The service later expanded its learnPro product set to include the XVR simulation product in 2023, creating a blended learning mix that combined online modules, simulated scenario training, and competency mapping. Operational coverage encompassed approximately 643 operational users and 254 support users, supporting role-based learning pathways for firefighters and support functions. The platform supported business functions in training delivery, competence assurance, and personnel development across the service. Governance and rollout were organized to create a unified L&D and competency platform, with configuration linking course completions to competency profiles to support auditability. The combined learnPro LMS and pdrPro environment is reported to have improved training consistency and auditability for Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
