In 2022, Beech Resources implemented DocVue Finance & Accounting as its ERP Financial application to centralize core accounting and treasury workflows. The implementation was led by the company controller in Denver, CO and focused on supporting monthly, quarterly, and year end consolidated financial statement preparation for upstream and midstream revenue lines, cashflow forecasting and budgeting activities, and compliance with new accounting guidelines.
DocVue Finance & Accounting was configured to support core ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger consolidation, revenue accounting workflows, cash management and forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting. The solution was used to establish and maintain internal control procedures, standardize recurring close tasks, and produce executive financial reports to inform the leadership team and CFO driven financial modeling and capital structure decisions.
The implementation included explicit integrations with Insperity payroll services and with transitioned banking institutions, and operational coordination with an independent CPA firm for annual review and tax preparation. Operational coverage centered on the finance organization, with the controller managing system configuration, staff training, and the production of reports used by company leadership for budgeting and decision making.
Governance changes accompanied the rollout, with the controller instituting stronger internal controls, updating accounting policies to reflect new guidelines, and creating documented processes and training to increase productivity and meet reporting deadlines. The program produced stated process improvements and efficiencies and centralized financial operations under DocVue Finance & Accounting and related payroll and banking integrations.
