Operationalization included a mix of system configuration and desktop automation, several written VBA Excel processes were created to bridge reporting and data preparation workflows. Governance changes formalised control points for statutory reporting under FRS 102 and embedded integrity checks in the monthly close and consolidation workflows. The Infor SunSystems installation served finance and group reporting functions across the organisation in York.

The deployment supported trustee-facing access patterns for governance and reporting, while routing member change requests to payroll and administration channels to ensure contribution updates and payroll instructions were actionable.
Governance and workflow changes centered on formalizing trustee communications and member nomination processes, including support for Member Nominated Trustee applications and distribution of trustee reports and newsletters. The Trustees remained active in monitoring funding and supplier continuity, and communications captured contingency assurances that essential services such as pensioner payroll would continue under supplier plans.
Contextual plan outcomes noted in published communications include a significant increase in DC section membership during the year and ongoing DB valuation activity where Trustees adjusted investment strategy to reduce risk, including introduction of Liability Driven Investment funds. These plan-level developments frame the operational remit that Benefex OneHub | Benefits supports within Benenden Health’s Benefits Administration environment.
