ECI Deacom ERP serves as the primary system of record for procedures, policies, forms, audits, certificates of analysis, kosher and organic certificates, product specifications, analytical requests and results, and vendor and customer documents, positioning Bergin Fruit & Nut ECI Deacom ERP Manufacturing ERP for FSQA document lifecycle management and operational QA control.
The implementation configured document management and QA workflow capabilities to function as the company librarian for all FSQA documents, including a controlled MSDS Index and a product retain library. Configuration included formal review workflows that require department head signoff when a new document supersedes an old one, collaborative product specification authoring with the R&D Manager and QA Manager, and concurrent QA process flows aligned to DEACOM for quality event processing.
The ECI Deacom ERP implementation was integrated operationally with external supplier document processes, with Bergin staff serving as TRACEGAINS Project Manager to enforce supplier and item level documentation compliance. Kosher certificate management used Digital Kosher and coordination with a Rabbi for recertification, and organic certification activities were coordinated with MCIA, supporting cross-functional use by Warehouse, Production, Research and Development, Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service and QA across Bergin Fruit and Nut divisions.

Operational stewardship emphasized maintaining FSQA regulatory knowledge and ensuring Bergin adherence to current Federal and State requirements, interacting routinely with City State Federal and 2nd party and 3rd party auditors and inspectors. ECI Deacom ERP was therefore positioned as the Manufacturing ERP backbone for document control, QA governance and supplier documentation enforcement across Bergin Fruit & Nut business functions.
