| Alvaria | Legacy | Alvaria Advanced Outreach | Call Center | CRM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 | In 2016, BES Utilities implemented Alvaria Advanced Outreach in . The deployment targeted blended Customer Service and Collections teams as well as Outbound Sales operations, with a short timetable for a versatile cloud dialler to support an expansion into new broker channels and the opening of a remote call centre in South Africa. The implementation configured Alvaria Advanced Outreach as the primary outbound campaign and dialling engine, focused on blended contact strategies across collections and sales. Functional work included campaign orchestration, predictive and power dial workflows, list management and lead routing, and a reporting feed designed to consolidate activity for both collections and outbound sales teams. Integrations were executed to pull and unify call activity with the existing CRM and internal tracking systems into a local internet hosted reporting suite, providing a consolidated view of dialler performance and customer contact history. Operational coverage included onshore UK sites and a newly established offshore call centre in South Africa, with configuration aligned to distinct business functions for Collections, Customer Service and Outbound Sales. Governance and rollout emphasized rapid planning and configuration, a three week launch of the cloud dialler for new broker engagement, and the design and implementation of the outbound function for the South Africa call centre under tight schedule constraints. During the programme a Collections team was migrated onto the more efficient dialler configuration and reported a 28% increase in revenues within a month, and a local reporting suite was brought online to unify dialler, CRM and tracking data for operational oversight. | |

| IRIS Software | Legacy | IRIS CascadeHR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 | In 2020, BES Utilities implemented IRIS CascadeHR in the Core HR category. The engagement included a January to August 2020 payroll leadership assignment, where a temporary Payroll Manager led the transition and integration activities while managing ongoing payroll operations. IRIS CascadeHR was configured to serve as the central HRIS and payroll interface, consolidating payroll schedules and employee master data. Configuration work focused on consolidating multiple weekly payroll runs into a single monthly cadence, supporting routine payroll processing for a combined population described in project notes as 9,430 staff members across 14 companies, while BES Utilities is listed with 254 employees. Functional capabilities implemented included payroll processing workflows, employee record management, payroll reconciliation controls, and statutory payroll calculation support including furlough and flexi furlough computations. Integrations and operational linkages were executed with existing payroll inputs processed in Sage and with HMRC for furlough claims and submissions. The implementation also incorporated finance reporting handoffs and stakeholder workflows to route payroll validation, employee inquiry resolution, and audit coordination across the company group. Regular payroll audits were performed and coordination occurred with internal and external auditors as part of operational controls. Governance and process changes were formalized through people and process interventions, payroll team management, monthly one to ones, bi-annual performance reviews, development planning and succession planning for payroll staff. The project emphasized legislative compliance across payroll and related business processes, ongoing exploration of process improvements, and operationalizing furlough claim procedures in alignment with HMRC guidance. | |
