In 2012, BG BAU implemented the tt Performance Suite as a Digital Adoption solution across multiple German locations. The rollout targeted heterogeneous departments including benefits, members and contributions, and the occupational health and safety service, and it required training internal employees to serve as trainers because external trainers could not be used.
tts GmbH delivered a blended learning design centered on two day train the trainer sessions and train the coach key user empowerment training, supplemented by web based training courses WBTs for the self learning phase. The tt Performance Suite deployment emphasized role based qualification, modular training content that could be flexibly adapted to the variable requirements of individual sites, and reusable WBTs to convey business processes, deepen complex topics at the workplace, cover rarely used tasks and train release changes.
Operationally, trainers moved between sites and were paired with local coaches who supported trainers on location specific differences and continued to handle product specific queries after tts led sessions. The project included a two week practice phase between the shutdown of the old system and the go live of the new system during which coaches ran independently designed training events, and after go live the coaches provided ongoing application related support on site. From an IT perspective the locations of BG BAU and BGN were merged and gained real time access to centrally stored data.
Governance focused on empowering internal trainers and coaches through methodical qualification, behavioral readiness and change techniques delivered by tts, which explicitly worked to reduce fears and motivate staff for their new trainer and coach roles. As a result of the tt Performance Suite deployment it is now possible at the employers liability insurance association to carry out processing without paper files, and the trained coaches are able to provide application related support services to employees at the respective locations.

In 2012, BG BAU implemented Open Telekom Cloud. The organization uses Open Telekom Cloud as Application Hosting and Computing Services to host its public website and associated web-facing applications that support member communications and employer reporting in Germany.
Deutsche Telekom provides the underlying cloud compute, virtual networking and object storage capabilities used in the deployment, with configuration oriented around web server instances, load balancing, SSL termination and persistent object storage for media and content. The implementation follows standard Application Hosting and Computing Services patterns, including automated instance provisioning, snapshot or backup routines and network segmentation for public and management interfaces.
Operational ownership sits with BG BAU IT operations, which manages platform configuration, access controls and patching processes to maintain the hosted website and application workloads. Governance emphasizes German data residency and security controls consistent with hosting public web services, and the Open Telekom Cloud instance is the primary infrastructure supporting BG BAU web presence and member-facing services.
