Operational coverage included revenue accounting, cost of goods sold, inventory accounting, and SG&A expense processes that feed the monthly close. The Birchbox Avalara AvaTax Tax Management implementation was therefore centered on supporting core finance workflows rather than system wide procurement or point of sale functions.
