Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP Patchworks 2018 2018
In 2018, Bluebella Ltd implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as part of a combined eCommerce and back-office replatforming effort. Bluebella selected Shopify-Plus for the customer-facing storefront and Oracle NetSuite ERP to automate stock and order processing while providing core back-office accounting capabilities. Oracle NetSuite ERP, categorized as ERP Financial, was configured to support inventory management, order management and core financial modules including general ledger and accounts payable and receivable. Configuration work emphasized automation of stock allocation and order orchestration to align online sales with warehouse fulfillment and financial posting workflows. Patchworks acted as the integration and implementation partner and ran a 360º validation of Bluebella’s business critical functions to capture current requirements and anticipated future growth. Integrations connected Shopify-Plus and the Torque WMS to Oracle NetSuite ERP, synchronizing orders, inventory levels and fulfillment status to enable coordinated eCommerce order processing and warehouse orchestration. Because this was Bluebella’s first deployment of combined eCommerce and ERP systems, Patchworks supported the full migration and advised on preparing and adapting business practices, including changes to order-to-cash and inventory governance. The stated project objective was to deliver a fully functional eCommerce platform that could scale as the business grew, with the integration architecture centered on Oracle NetSuite ERP as the financial and inventory control hub.
