In 2020, Bluesun Hotels & Resorts implemented Shiji Infrasys Cloud POS to modernize food and beverage operations across its Adriatic portfolio. The Shiji Infrasys Cloud POS deployment covered more than 80 F&B outlets across 12 hotels and 2,629 rooms, consolidating order capture and outlet management under a cloud architecture suited to seasonal operations.
The implementation focused on core Point Of Sale capabilities, including fast order capture, outlet-level inventory handling, and centralized pricing configuration. Shiji Infrasys Cloud POS was configured to support rapid menu updates and price changes, enabling managers to adjust offerings across multiple outlets, and the vendor delivered a weeklong setup and onboarding that included training for outlet teams and food and beverage managers.
Operational rollout was timed to take advantage of the off season and hotel openings, with Shiji consultants providing on-property and remote support during dry runs and go lives. The Shiji team also completed required configurations for the group currency change to the Euro in January 2023, demonstrating the deployment included payments and currency configuration workstreams as part of operational readiness.
Governance and process change emphasized staff education and empowerment, with structured on-site training for new hires and practical practice sessions before peak season. Reported outcomes include reduced guest wait times, time savings for outlet staff, faster pricing adjustments, and greater operational autonomy for outlet teams, all enabled by the cloud Point Of Sale platform Shiji Infrasys Cloud POS.
