In 2021 Bluewater Health implemented Honeywell Forge Asset Performance Management, deploying a cloud-based AI platform classified under Asset Performance Management to centralize condition monitoring across its Petrolia and Sarnia, Ontario hospital campuses. The implementation targeted the facility and maintenance environment of a multi-vintage estate that includes a 317,000 square foot addition, operating rooms, a surgical center, and consolidated maternal and pediatric services, aligning asset monitoring with clinical environment requirements.
The deployment architecture ingests real-time building telemetry and operational signals, integrating directly with the site EBI Building Automation System and aggregating data from more than 1,000 sources across the portfolio. Honeywell technicians worked with the Bluewater Health team to define critical start areas and encode rules for anomaly detection, enabling the platform to surface readings outside acceptable ranges and prioritize corrective actions.
