In 2022, BNP Paribas CIB Poland implemented Fenergo Client Lifecycle Management as a CRM platform to centralize KYC and Client Due Diligence workflows for Ireland and US based funds and their investors. The deployment was delivered as part of a Client Lifecycle Management and workflow toolset that also included Cirrus and NTAS, led by a Team Manager responsible for Fund KYC operations in Ireland with 29 FTE and in the US with 14 FTE, and targeted the fund KYC and client onboarding functions within the bank.
Fenergo Client Lifecycle Management was configured to support client onboarding orchestration, KYC and CDD case management, risk assessment workflows, and automated task routing across the operational teams. Configuration included rule based decisioning for CDD steps, document ingestion and tracking, and management information feeds to enforce control points for account opening and ongoing monitoring.
Integrations were established with SQL and Excel based reporting sources and with automated dashboards in Qlik and Tableau to supply the three lines of defense with timely management information. The implementation coexisted with Cirrus and NTAS as complementary workflow tools, enabling case handoff and coordinated KYC technical advice across the onboarding lifecycle.
Governance and process changes included maintaining procedure documents to align with updated regulatory CDD requirements, rolling out professional training modules to KYC staff, and preparing risk based approach reports to support alternative client identification measures. Operational controls emphasized monitoring and managing completion of due diligence documentation, escalation and tracking of exceptions, and regular communication of CDD changes to business managers and control functions.
