In 2019, BNP Paribas Fortis Factor implemented Boomi AtomSphere as the integration core for its Easy2Cash digital factoring product, deploying the platform as an API Management,iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution to support digital customer onboarding. The implementation positioned Boomi AtomSphere as the central orchestration layer to replace manual onboarding workflows with a workflow-driven, automated process across business and IT teams.
The deployment scope focused on end-to-end orchestration and data integration for the Easy2Cash service, with a modular iPaaS architecture chosen to start small and scale. Boomi AtomSphere was configured to provide process orchestration, canonical data handling, and runtime visibility, enabling rapid development cycles and reuse of integration components for future digitalization initiatives. B-flow served as the system integrator, leading selection, implementation, and operational support activities.
Functionally, the implementation delivered integration flows, process orchestration, and monitoring capabilities, with Boomi AtomSphere providing integration logic, error handling, and operational dashboards to ensure process integrity. The platform was used to automate document flows and e-signature transactions, orchestrate KYC screening calls, and synchronize customer and deal records with CRM and core banking systems. Reuseability of integration artifacts was a stated objective to extend connectivity beyond onboarding into other customer facing and internal processes.
Key integrations explicitly connected through Boomi included Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM, core banking systems, document storage, e-signature services, and customer screening for KYC eligibility. Operational coverage targeted BNP Paribas Fortis Factor in Belgium and its small entrepreneurial customer segment, impacting customer onboarding, sales operations, compliance screening, document management, and IT operations. The integration fabric provided technical visibility and monitoring between Salesforce and back end systems to maintain end-to-end process reliability.
Governance and rollout emphasized close business and IT collaboration with a buy not build approach for point solutions, and B-flow providing aftercare and operational support. The project was delivered in less than nine months, and the Easy2Cash rollout reduced factoring client onboarding time from weeks or months to just days while generating high net promoter scores, and elevated IT s role as a strategic partner to the business.
