In 2025, Bombay Sweets implemented IFS Cloud ERP with Inivos to modernize finance and operations and enable real-time decision making. The initiative is scoped as an ERP Financial program aimed at strengthening financial control and operational resilience across the companys consumer packaged goods activities in Bangladesh.
The IFS Cloud ERP deployment centers on core ERP Financial functionality, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, financial reporting and cost accounting, configured to support inventory valuation and production costing for snack, beverage and frozen foods product lines. IFS Cloud ERP was configured using modular financial workflows, period close automation and multi-entity consolidation to provide centralized financial processes and role based access controls.
Inivos designed a cloud native, modular architecture for IFS Cloud ERP that centralizes financial and operational data to create a single source of truth across Bombay Sweets operations. The technical design emphasizes real-time transactional processing and analytics readiness to support operational planning and resource management while leaving integration points open for shop floor and inventory process data to be connected during subsequent phases.
Governance and rollout planning were informed by direct engagement with Bombay Sweets leadership and staff, leading to a phased implementation approach with process standardization, training and change management. Governance constructs include defined business process owners, configuration control and data governance to sustain consistent financial reporting and operational workflows.
The IFS Cloud ERP implementation is positioned to optimize core operations and improve resource management, providing Bombay Sweets with real-time, data driven financial visibility and a platform for scalable business processes. This program marks the start of a transformation toward innovation and scalability for one of Bangladeshs longstanding manufacturers.
