In 2015 Bondor implemented Pronto XI BI as an enterprise Analytics and BI capability layered on their existing Pronto Xi deployment to provide enterprise reporting and real time operational visibility. Bondor is an Australian manufacturer with six manufacturing facilities, operations in each state, and a workforce that uses Pronto Xi across sales, manufacturing, production, dispatch, construction, technical and administration functions, and the Pronto XI BI rollout was positioned to serve that nationwide operational footprint.
The Pronto XI BI implementation concentrated on business intelligence and reporting modules that surface transactional data from Pronto Xi for management and operational teams. Functional capabilities implemented include enterprise level reporting, real time visibility of production and dispatch status, and dashboarded analytics for management planning, while operational workflows were adapted so factory teams could schedule production requests from the ERP and import manufacturing requests directly to factory equipment before barcode scanning and status updates were recorded.
Pronto XI BI was integrated with Pronto Xi transactional processes and used Pronto Xi and Cognos components to deliver combined reporting functionality, providing a single reporting layer for sales, logistics and production data. The implementation covered every site and business function that relied on Pronto Xi, enabling dispatch teams to receive real time order and logistics updates and sales teams to query delivery status across Bondor’s nationwide network.
Governance changes emphasized process simplification and redeployment of staff to higher value projects, with workflow adjustments to reduce processing steps and centralize reporting oversight. Outcomes documented by Bondor include streamlined processes, improved real time visibility across manufacturing and dispatch, and management prioritizing big data and analytics planning using the Pronto XI BI reporting foundation.
