In 2018, Brickworks implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment was scoped to Brickworks Building Products and positioned to centralize finance, accounting, and transactional operations across divisions using Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Configuration work emphasized core financial modules typical of ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and integrated inventory costing. Pricing configuration and transport rate management were organized as discrete Transport and Pricing functional streams within the JDE configuration, leveraging standard ERP workflows and master data alignment for pricing and cost capture.
Integrations explicitly included a paperless delivery system interface that routed electronic proof of delivery and delivery confirmations into Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, feeding inventory and costing subledgers. The implementation covered all divisions of Brickworks Building Products and included site-level activity at Horsley Park in New South Wales for transport and pricing stream execution.
Governance followed a stream-based rollout model with a named Transport and Pricing stream lead in place from April 2020 onward to coordinate configuration, testing, and cutover activities for transport, pricing, and delivery workflows.
