In 2013 Brightpearl implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as its central ERP Financial application to consolidate core accounting workflows for a 127 person professional services firm based in the United States. The implementation positioned Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise as the primary system for general ledger control and transactional financial processing across the company’s finance organization.
The deployment focused on standard ERP Financial modules, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, fixed asset accounting, and financial reporting. Configuration work emphasized a centralized chart of accounts, multi-user role permissions, configurable invoicing and billing templates, bank reconciliation workflows, and period-close sequencing to support regular month-end processes. The Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise configuration included automation of routine journal entries and recurring transactions to reduce manual effort in core accounting routines.
Governance changes accompanied the rollout, with formalized month-end close responsibilities, role-based access controls, and audit trail settings to support financial controls and compliance workflows. Rollout was staged for the finance and accounting teams, with training and process documentation aligned to the new ERP Financial workflows, ensuring Brightpearl integrated Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise into its accounting operations and financial governance structure.

In 2011 Brightpearl implemented Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) as its Collaboration platform. The suite is present on Brightpearl's website and functions as the primary environment for corporate email, calendar, cloud storage, and real time document collaboration supporting the company’s professional services operations. Implementation focused on tenant configuration through the Google Workspace admin console for domain verification, user account provisioning, and baseline sharing policies. The deployment is used to manage client communications, scheduling, and project documentation workflows across Brightpearl’s organizational users.
Configured capabilities of Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Meet, forming a unified collaboration stack aligned with the Collaboration category. Governance is administered through role based administration, group management and account lifecycle controls in the admin console, with standard controls for external sharing and access management. | Conga | Legacy | Conga Sign | Digital Signing | Content Management | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Brightpearl implemented Conga Sign as its Digital Signing solution while leveraging an existing Conga Composer deployment to create an end-to-end contract lifecycle that moves from document generation to executed signature without leaving Salesforce. The integration was positioned to fully maximize Conga’s capabilities, unifying contract inception, document configuration, and signature capture into a single Salesforce-centric workflow.
Conga Composer was configured to generate and alter templated documents to meet Brightpearl’s contract needs, while Conga Sign provided embedded eSignature capability and audit trail capture. Conga Sign and Conga Composer operate together to keep the document generation and signature handshake invisible to users, maintaining security coverage and a complete compliance record for each transaction.
The deployment is integrated directly into Salesforce, enabling Sales to complete the full contracting process in-platform, and it extends to interactions by professional services and finance teams for downstream contract and billing workflows. Sales representatives are the primary users of both Conga Composer and Conga Sign, with cross-functional usage by services and finance to support execution and recordkeeping.
Operationally Brightpearl removed the need for sales reps to leave Salesforce during the contract lifecycle, which changed workflow handoffs and centralized governance around Salesforce-based document and signature processes. Despite initial trepidation about changing eSignature workflows, feedback since adoption has been largely positive, with teams reporting confidence in the combined Conga Composer and Conga Sign solution and the security and audit capabilities it provides.
