| Extensiv | Legacy | 3PL Warehouse Manager | Warehouse Management | SCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, Brilliant Fulfillment implemented 3PL Warehouse Manager from Extensiv as its Warehouse Management platform to standardize fulfillment and inventory operations after a year of running the warehouse on spreadsheets and single-point tools. The deployment targeted fulfillment operations for health and beauty clients and was led by the company IT team with operational ownership from the CTO and operations managers. 3PL Warehouse Manager was configured to automate core Warehouse Management capabilities including inventory control, order management, pick and pack workflows, barcode-based tasking, and shipment orchestration. Configuration emphasized operational workflows over paper processes, with WMS-driven task assignment and cycle counting to replace manual spreadsheets and ad hoc transaction logs. Operational coverage included primary warehouse floor operations and associated fulfillment functions, with the system in active use as Brilliant Fulfillment scaled physical footprint and staffing. The company rapidly outgrew its initial 1,000 square foot site and expanded warehouse space repeatedly, while headcount and operational capacity scaled in parallel. Governance and rollout were managed internally by IT in partnership with operations, establishing standardized fulfillment procedures, training for floor staff, and centralized inventory governance under the WMS. Outcomes reported by the customer included rapid order volume growth of 175 percent in the first year after go live, 141 percent growth the following year, a cumulative 794 percent increase from the first year, consistent doubling of warehouse size year over year, and a fourfold increase in employee headcount. |
