In 2021 Broncos Club implemented FoundU Onboarding, deploying the Onboarding application to digitize new hire intake and core workforce records across its leisure and hospitality operations. The deployment targeted a 76 person workforce that included more than 70 casual and full time staff working across multiple rosters and departments, shifting onboarding from an in-person paper process to an email driven, online workflow. FoundU Onboarding was configured to deliver 100 percent online candidate intake, allowing new hires to complete forms and upload certifications prior to their first shift, while the platform automatically creates an employee record with associated data for managers. The implementation leveraged the FoundU end to end capabilities, combining the onboarding module with the platform payroll engine that supports custom pay rules, award interpretation and allowance calculation, and a dedicated employee mobile app for self managed profiles and availability settings. Operationally the solution unified candidate intake, employee master data and payroll processing within the FoundU environment, removing manual handoffs and consolidating workforce information for accounting and operational managers. New employees receive an emailed onboarding link and complete the process in their own time, which ensures records and supporting documents are captured before training shifts begin, and gives managers immediate access to populated employee records. Governance and day to day workflow were altered to shift responsibility for personal data updates to staff through the employee app, reducing administrative ticketing to the club accountant. Reported outcomes include a reduction in payroll processing time from four or five hours to approximately two hours and fewer payroll errors, alongside faster Australian based support with response times reported within a single business day.
