In 2013, Bruil implemented Exact AEC as its Construction ERP to centralize project accounting and site costing within its manufacturing operations. Bruil implemented Exact AEC in a technical application management program that also included Exact Financials and a portfolio of operational systems, establishing Exact AEC as the core Construction ERP for project financials and execution workflows.
The Exact AEC deployment encompassed standard Construction ERP capabilities such as project accounting, contract billing and invoicing workflows, cost control and job costing, and resource and subcontractor cost tracking. Configuration work focused on aligning project structures and chart of accounts between Exact AEC and Exact Financials to enable consistent financial posting and reporting across construction projects and manufacturing-related site works.
Integrations were explicit and operational, with Exact AEC managed alongside Exact Financials, T-Click (Jonker) Beton en Droog, ISP Invoice, Scansys, ISAH, TomTom Webfleet, Superoffice CRM, Microsoft dynamics 365, EBM Projects, Manual Master, Office 365, AS2 connect Seeburger, and various in-house software. These integrations supported end-to-end flows for invoicing, fleet telemetry, CRM-led commercial workflows, project data exchanges, electronic document interchange, and office productivity synchronization, enabling finance, project management, operations and sales teams to share transactional and master data.
Governance was structured around technical application management, with centralized oversight of configuration, integration interfaces and change control across Exact AEC and the connected estate. Process standardization efforts emphasized unified project numbering, consistent invoicing rules, and controlled master data stewardship to reduce reconciliation work between Exact AEC and Exact Financials while preserving operational connectivity to fleet, CRM and local project tools.
