Operational coverage spanned warehouse receiving, production support, and quality assurance, with procedures to report discrepancies or damaged goods to production managers and supervisors. The system was used as the authoritative record for stock counts and assisted with company stock checks, embedding ERP Financial inventory controls into physical workflows for ambient, chilled, and controlled pharmaceuticals.
Governance emphasized adherence to standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practice, and health and safety, with workflow touchpoints for escalation when paperwork or product details did not match. Governance and process changes included scheduling and sequencing of the three separate monthly payroll runs, coordination of year end procedures, and a defined handoff to the management accountant for month end close activities. The payroll team retained responsibility for imputing new starter information, executing statutory leave calculations, and maintaining payroll documentation and expense records.
