The architecture leverages Direct Routing to bridge public telephone networks with Teams, with session border controller functionality and tenant-level dial plans and voice routing policies forming the routing layer for calls. Operational coverage targeted internal communications for BSZ Stiftung staff and external stakeholder voice channels across Switzerland, and governance work updated voice policy administration within the Microsoft 365 tenant. The program included configuration of voice routing policies, user assignment and centralized management workflows, and operational handover for phone number administration to sipcall as the telephony provider.
