In 2007, BTE implemented Aptean Made2Manage ERP as its Manufacturing ERP platform for its United States operations. The deployment focused on core financial and order to cash workflows, and was used to post cash receipts using Made2Manage software for accounts receivable cash application. The implementation covered accounting and finance functions and operationally supported order management to align payment posting with invoice and shipment records. The system was deployed on premises in a client server arrangement consistent with Made2Manage installations of that period, centralizing transaction posting and ledger updates.
Configuration emphasized the Accounts Receivable and General Ledger capabilities of Aptean Made2Manage ERP, including cash application rules, receipt posting screens, and reconciliation routines to support post cash receipts processing and maintain audit trails. Workflows were adjusted to route incoming payments into the ERP for posting, tying cash receipts to sales orders and invoices and enabling centralized AR controls and month end close activities. Integrations remained within the Made2Manage environment, linking order entry and financial modules, with operational ownership assigned to accounting and order fulfillment teams across BTE United States operations. Governance implemented process level controls for receipt approval and posting, along with system based audit logging in Aptean Made2Manage ERP.
