In 2012 Buckley and Phillips implemented MYOB Exo to introduce a new management system across its manufacturing and finance operations. The deployment centered on MYOB Exo as an ERP Financial solution designed to support the companys move from simple shop floor accounting toward structured production and financial control.
The implementation configured bill of materials and work order capabilities within MYOB Exo, and included custom report development and work order templates tailored to fragrance and aromatherapy product workflows. The deployment also incorporated core financial modules aligned with ERP Financial practice, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and inventory cost tracking to improve transaction visibility and costing processes.
Kilimanjaro Consulting led the implementation and customization effort, working with Buckley and Phillips to translate manufacturing processes into system configuration and bespoke reporting. The system rollout targeted production, inventory and finance functions within the Australian manufacturing operation, with training and process enablement to bring shop floor and office staff onto the platform.
Governance work focused on embedding the new work order driven workflows and report ownership, enabling staff empowerment as users learned product capabilities and report creation. Buckley and Phillips leveraged MYOB Exo customization to design operational reports and work orders that matched existing business processes.
Post implementation the company documented improvements in reporting, cost efficiencies and staff empowerment, and reported efficiencies and savings across multiple dimensions of the business. Selection rationale included MYOBs evolved functionality to support bill of materials and the vendor ecosystem of implementation partners, which influenced the decision to deploy MYOB Exo.
