| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle CPQ Cloud (ex BigMachines) | Configure Price Quote (CPQ) | SPM | n/a | 2024 | 2025 | In 2024, Bukhatir Group implemented Oracle CPQ Cloud (ex BigMachines) as its Configure Price Quote (CPQ) solution to centralize quoting and pricing workflows across its diversified business units. The decision was part of a broader move that included Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, and CX, aimed at reducing costs and unifying data across back-office applications. Oracle CPQ Cloud (ex BigMachines) was configured to deliver standard Configure Price Quote (CPQ) capabilities including guided selling, product configuration, rule-based pricing, quote generation, and approval workflow orchestration. Configuration work emphasized reusable pricing rules and templated quote documents to support the variety of product and service bundles found across construction, education, real estate, and retail development lines of business. Integration work linked Oracle CPQ Cloud into Bukhatir Group’s broader Oracle footprint, aligning product catalogs, customer master data, pricing lists and contract references with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SCM, EPM and CX, while maintaining continuity with the company’s existing Oracle E-Business Suite instances. The implementation targeted commercial and sales quoting processes as well as downstream finance and procurement reconciliation, enabling a more consistent quote to order handoff across the United Arab Emirates operations and sectoral business units. Oracle Customer Success Services supported the rollout, guiding phased adoption across business units and establishing centralized pricing governance and approval models to standardize workflows. The program explicitly sought to unify data across back-office applications and improve efficiency and productivity, with configuration and integration choices focused on operational consistency rather than bespoke point solutions. |
