Pronto Software Legacy Pronto XI ERP ERP Financial ERP Pronto Woven 2017 2017
In 2017, C.R.Kennedy Security implemented Pronto XI ERP, deploying an ERP Financial solution to support its Port Melbourne head office and division-level distribution operations. The implementation addressed the Financial Accounting and Reporting function for a 350 employee distribution business that imports and distributes electronic security products, aligning the application name Pronto XI ERP with the company finance organization. The Pronto XI ERP deployment focused on core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting and financial reporting. Configuration emphasized supplier accounting and budgetary controls, quarterly budget submission workflows, and monthly financial reviews, reflecting the company requirement to produce detailed sell out and stock on hand reporting for overseas suppliers. Operational integration centered on transactional data exchange between finance and inventory operations, with IT validating data flows into and out of Pronto XI ERP. Functional capabilities implemented included supplier account reconciliation, purchase order and stock on order visibility, inventory valuation touchpoints to financial ledgers, and standardized monthly reporting for overseas suppliers covering stock on hand sell out data and supplier-specific reconciliation. Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, establishing budgetary and accounting systems to comply with major supplier requirements and embedding monthly review cycles to monitor sales revenue and expenditure. The implementation was executed with support from Pronto Woven, and the Financial Accountant role was responsible for ongoing operational support, supplier reporting, and coordination between finance, inventory, and IT to ensure data integrity in Pronto XI ERP.
