Fluke Corporation Legacy Fluke eMaint CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2020
In 2019 Cabot Gypsum implemented Fluke eMaint CMMS, a Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) application, to standardize maintenance planning and parts management at its Nova Scotia facility. The deployment targeted the company maintenance function and established a single system of record for work scheduling, spare parts inventory, and asset linkage across the Maintenance department. Configuration work focused on aligning the Fluke eMaint CMMS workflow with Cabot Gypsum operational procedures, including adjusting job flow to match company objectives and work procedures. Core capabilities stood up include centralized work order and scheduler planning, incremental addition of inventory items as they are ordered, explicit linking of inventory items to assets, and structured spare parts procurement workflows managed by the maintenance scheduler. Operational coverage includes site level stores organization and full maintenance scheduling responsibility, with the scheduler managing ordering of parts, obtaining quotes and negotiating prices for new parts on behalf of the maintenance team. The implementation also extended to physical stores processes to enable rapid part retrieval during job execution and to ensure inventory items are logged and organized for visibility within the eMaint system. Governance and process changes were driven by the maintenance scheduler role, who from May 2019 to present has operated as the primary system administrator and procedural owner, coordinating with health and safety personnel to perform plant walk rounds and to schedule and resolve safety related maintenance issues. Fluke eMaint CMMS was configured to support these governance workflows and to centralize scheduling, asset linkage, and parts management for Cabot Gypsum maintenance operations.
