| Yardi | Legacy | Yardi Payments | Payment Processing | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2015 | 2016 |
In 2015 Capilano Properties implemented Yardi Payments as part of its property technology stack. The Yardi Payments deployment addressed Payment Processing needs across the company's US portfolio and was coordinated alongside a platform upgrade to Yardi 7s and a broader 2015 to 2016 multi-product rollout.
The implementation of Yardi Payments was delivered in the context of a bundled Yardi ecosystem, which included RentCafe, LeasingPad CRM, RentMAXimizer, Yardi Concierge, Resident Shield and Yardi Screening. Yardi Payments was configured to provide core Payment Processing capabilities typical for property management, including tenant payment acceptance, posting to tenant ledgers, and integration into centralized accounting workflows and receivables processes. Configuration work emphasized security enhancements, user creation and role-based access to align payments with financial controls.
Operational integration tied Yardi Payments to the upgraded Yardi 7s platform and to resident-facing portals and leasing workflows provided by RentCafe and LeasingPad CRM. The sole Yardi Systems Administrator managed software integration, database optimization, report building and streamlining end user experiences, supporting corporate and site level employees across Phoenix, Los Angeles and Chicago. System updates and ongoing support were centralized under a single administrator to maintain consistency across sites.
Governance and rollout were led by the in-house systems administrator who served as project manager for the initiative, delivering training on site across new and existing properties and enforcing process changes for payments and accounting elevation. The multi-product project that included Yardi Payments was accelerated and all systems launched on time and successfully, aligning Payment Processing with Capilano Properties business functions for accounts receivable, tenant billing and property-level accounting.

| Yardi | Legacy | Yardi Screening Works Pro | Lease Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Capilano Properties deployed Yardi Screening Works Pro to strengthen tenant screening and applicant decisioning as part of its Lease Management stack. The implementation was executed alongside a broader Yardi platform initiative covering property management workflows across the companys U.S. portfolio.
Yardi Screening Works Pro was configured to operate within standard lease management workflows, providing tenant screening capabilities such as credit and background checks, eviction history checks, and automated applicant decisioning and reporting. The Business Systems Administrator led configuration activities that included user creation, security enhancements, report building, database optimization, and system updates to align screening outputs with leasing operations.
The screening implementation was integrated with other Yardi and adjacent systems already deployed at Capilano Properties, including RentCafe, LeasingPad CRM, RentMAXimizer, Yardi Payments, Yardi Concierge, and Resident Shield, and it was aligned to an upgrade of the Yardi platform to Yardi 7s. Work was staged for three separate market portfolios, and operational coverage included corporate and site level users across Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
Governance and rollout were driven by a single Business Systems Administrator who acted as project manager, managing security and access provisioning, training for site teams, and standardization of reporting and workflows. The screening project was delivered as part of a two project program executed in 2015 and 2016, the screening and associated systems launched on time and successfully.
