Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Car Covers.com implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its core ERP Financial platform. The deployment centralized financial management for the 35 person e-commerce retailer that operates primary operations in Pittsburg, CA and was expanding to a second distribution center in Memphis, TN, while reporting to private equity sponsor Boyne Capital. Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to support core financial modules including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax and treasury controls, budgeting and consolidated financial reporting. Implementation focus included month end close orchestration, structured monthly consolidated reporting, and inventory and warehouse accounting practices consistent with e-commerce inventory control needs. The implementation extended financial posting to site level operations, aligning order to cash and procure to pay workflows with warehouse fulfillment processes across the Pittsburg and Memphis sites. Integrations were established between Oracle NetSuite ERP and the companys e-commerce storefront and warehouse inventory systems to ensure synchronized inventory valuation, sales invoicing, and cash application workflows. Governance and process changes were driven through the Controller who reports to the COO and acts as liaison to Boyne Capital, with responsibilities to design and oversee the monthly close, manage the annual budget process, coordinate external audits, and develop best practices for inventory and warehouse accounting management. Oracle NetSuite ERP served as the centralized financial system to standardize accounting, reporting and treasury functions across multiple sites and to support PE reporting requirements.
