In 2011, Careers24 engaged HotLizard to deliver a new JobBoard using Gecko job board technology to support online recruitment and CV and job searching across South Africa. The implementation launched in 2011 and targeted core recruitment and job board functionality for the South African market under the Recruiting application category.
The Careers24 JobBoard implementation delivered candidate registration, automated CV parsing, and mobile support to extend candidate reach and improve site performance. Standard Recruiting workflows such as job posting ingestion, candidate search and filtering, and applicant management were implemented and configured to operate with Gecko platform capabilities.
Operational coverage focused on national recruitment activity in South Africa, serving employer job postings and candidate job search use cases. The platform was positioned to support HR and recruitment teams through structured candidate intake, CV data capture, and mobile-enabled application flows.
Operational processes and content workflows were adjusted to onboard candidate registration and CV parsing at scale as part of the rollout. The implementation delivered improved candidate reach and site performance as stated by the project scope, and HotLizard provided the Gecko job board technology and delivery for the Careers24 JobBoard in the Recruiting category.
