Functional configuration emphasized accounts receivable and credit control workflows within Sage 50, with transaction posting, invoice generation and receipt allocation configured to support weekly provider returns and ongoing private billing. Purchase order recording and credit query tracking were operationalized through Sage 50 transaction registers, and reconciliation activities were supported by Excel spreadsheets exported from Sage 50. Standard Word templates were used alongside Sage 50 for preparing payment request letters and escalation notices.
Operational coverage centered on the credit control team within the local office, handling communication via regular email and telephone contact to manage overdue account payments and escalate aged accounts for potential legal action. Process governance included precise documentation of customer payments, purchase orders and credit queries in Sage 50 to maintain accurate and up to date accounts. The implementation formalized controls and workflows for weekly and ad hoc reporting to councils and for letter based escalation of aged accounts.

The recognition module was applied to support frontline acknowledgement and informal rewards, aligning with HR and operations objectives for caregiver engagement.
Deployment governance was coordinated through HR and franchise management to standardize policy publishing and manager messaging, while franchise offices remained the operational rollout units across the 115 office footprint. As described in the case study by Connecteam, the implementation rapidly achieved wide adoption and improved training delivery across the network, with the platform operationally scoped to HR and field management for homecare services.
