In 2007, Cargohaus implemented Infor SCM. The deployment targeted Supply Chain Management capabilities to consolidate operations across its professional services logistics activities, covering inventory control, order fulfillment, warehouse operations and procurement workflows. The project was scoped for a 50 employee organization, so configuration emphasized streamlined process automation and role based controls rather than enterprise scale customization.
Infor SCM was configured to deliver core modules including inventory management, order management, warehouse management and demand planning, with orchestration for transportation planning and cycle counting workflows. Configuration focused on standard functional workflows typical of Supply Chain Management systems such as order to fulfill and procure to pay process alignment, and included business rules, alerts and basic workflow automation.
Governance centered on centralized application administration, role based access, and staged rollout across operational teams, supported by process documentation and user training to embed new operational workflows. This implementation represented a competitive win against WAS.
