MRI Software Legacy MRI CRE Lease Accounting Lease Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2009 2010
In 2009 Caribbean Property Group implemented MRI CRE Lease Accounting as its core Lease Management application to centralize lease portfolio accounting and administration. The deployment positioned MRI CRE Lease Accounting within the Lease Administration Department and finance organization, with an MRI subject matter specialist serving as the liaison to the MRI support helpdesk. Configuration focused on the Commercial Real Estate Module alongside the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable modules, with customization of standard financial reports that had been produced offline. The implementation included troubleshooting of MRI accounting application problems, ongoing system updates to ensure efficient use of MRI functions, and the creation of new process documentation to standardize daily operational tasks. Technical integration work included creation of a GL interface for all intercompany entities to support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing inside MRI. Project work also covered exporting third party portfolio data from a previous management companys MRI system and importing that data into MRI 3.0, and coordinating and testing the companys upgrade from MRI 3.0 to MRI 4.0. Data integrity monitoring for the Accounts Receivable module was performed using SQL statements within MRI to identify and remediate transactional issues. Governance activity centered on reengineering the Lease Administration Departments processes and structure to increase accuracy and efficiency, and on producing process documentation to govern system use and reporting. Responsibilities extended to customizing reporting, maintaining the GL interface, troubleshooting operational issues, and overseeing upgrade testing, establishing a controlled operational model for MRI CRE Lease Accounting across lease administration and accounting functions.
